Newlywedness

Puerto Vallarta, Dreams Resort

Honeymoon Time

Okay so we are starting a blog. Nick already had a blog account attached to his name and since I am "under" his rule i.e. submitting to him we are using his email:) Nah, just joking but it is just easier. Since the wedding it has been busy, busy, busy.

So our honeymoon was amazing. Mexico was beautiful and the weather was about 80 degrees Fahrenheit everyday! Nick put pictures on Picasa so you can check them out! Here is a preview...

This is at the Latin Night where we met another couple from Washington married the same day! The food was great and the sunsets... beautiful.

Here we are getting ready for zip-line canopy tours. The jungle was a semi-deciduous jungle and had orchids on the trees. It was really cool going across the little river. The water was sooo clear and we were so high up. The tour guides were great. Nick's favorite person while in Mexico was one of the tour guides. They were hilarious! They would sneak up and ride behind you or ask you if they scared you (because they catch you as you come in to the platform). It was an amazing experience minus the fact these weird little bugs chewed us up. We even asked before we went if we needed bug repellent. It was worth the bites:)

Last but certainly not least, here is a great picture of Nick and I smokin' Chad and Amy all the way from across the border. Can we say, "!Les fumamos buenisimo, mejor de todo!" Yes, indeed.

So the vacation was definitely amazing! Our first week back, we built our table and china cabinet we were able to buy because we had wonderful people give us gift cards and money! It is such a blessing to have a home and one that looks somewhat put together. Sooo, the first week was crazy and full of getting things done. Last week, we both ended up with a nasty illness. We are finally adjusting and settling down. We are in the process of getting our mantle redone as a wedding gift from Chad and Amy. It is going to look great! I have been cooking most nights, which has been really fun and neat to see what Nick's favorites are:) We are so blessed to have so many friends and family support us. Thank you all. It is so awesome to live together, and get to hang out all the time!!!!

So, off to getting work done so I can go home and make one of Nick's favorites.... Hot dogs, beans, and rice
